I am so happy to share this project with you that I created for my twin nieces who just graduated pre-school and will begin Kindergarten in the fall. They are not only special because they are my nieces but also because from the very beginning they had a rough start. They were born 3-months prematurely when my sister-in-law was only 26 weeks. She went into pre-term labor and it was unable to be stopped sooooo....needless to say they were born in July when they were supposed to be born in October. I call them my little "firecracker babies" because they popped out on July 4th. Ü They remained in NICU for 3 months and when they came home it was a glorious day. I credit my brother and SIL for a tremendous job of keeping these little girls as healthy as they could. Anyone who's had a premature baby can understand how important it is to keep them away from EVERYTHING so their immune systems can develop. This year on July 4th they will turn 5 years old....YAY! They are celebrating with a Strawberry Shortcake birthday theme and how appropriate when they come driving around in their pink mustang (remote control car) it's soooo fun to watch them drive all around the yard.
For this project.....I create individual gifts to celebrate their recent graduation from pre-school and are ready to start kindergarten in the fall. Thanks for your comments everyone....I so appreciate them. Ü

This is really cute. Im sure their mom loved them. Happy Birthday soon to those lovely girls. It looks like they've REALLY come a long way from the NICU!
ReplyDeleteI loved your video and the story you shared of your nieces. SO Sweet that they are doing to wonderful. I was not so lucky...I lost one of the two. Everyone thinks how wonderful it is to be expecting multiples but it can be very dangerous for both baby and momma. Congratulations again.
ReplyDeleteI just watched your video and I loved it. You are such a creative person. I am sure your nieces will treasure their pre - scool graduation pages for a lifetime. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHi Tracy,
ReplyDeleteThis project is TOO cute! TFS! I love the graduation photo frame idea. I was wondering where you got those white frames from.
Also, I've been reading your blog for a while now, and though I don't post comments much, I wanted you to know that I've enjoyed your videos. I was wondering though if there is a way to increase the font size of your text on your blog. These older eyes sure would appreciate bigger type. :)
Thanks again!
Charlene
