Welcome to Craft Junkie Too. I'm Tracy and I have been creating my entire life and love to share what I know with others. I call myself Craft Junkie "Too" (meaning "as well") because I know there are LOTS of "craft junkies" out there that LOVE to create with so many crafty things.
I especially love to paint, decorate my home, shop everywhere including Thrift stores, use my Cricut machines, dibble dabble with digital images and blog design and love hosting a weekly linking party called T.G.I.F. Linky Party to share your latest and greatest. My youngest son Spencer joins me on occasion to do some mommy and me crafts and he is definitely a chip off of the "creative" block. I also love to share my creative design through Video Tutorials so check out my You Tube channel when you have a little time. I'm glad you're here so check out what I have to offer and explore my crafting style :)

{Family Love} Valentine Subway Art

I was totally inspired to create one of these valentine subway arts for my family when I saw this one over At Second Street.  I totally fell in love with the idea and couldn't wait to get it finished.

I have a mac computer and created this using Pages (same as Word on a PC) -- I put every line into a text box so that I could maneuver it around the page where I wanted it.  I then printed it on my home printer.  easy peasy!  All of these fonts were free over at www.dafont.com -- my favorite place to get my fonts.  I think this valentine decor it is a wonderful way to include the whole family in a special way.  I'll be back soon to show you how it looks in a frame and included in my Valentine decor.  So stay tuned my friends…..

If you have any questions -- just leave me a comment and I'll try my best to reply.

Hugs!
Tracy

Door Knob Valentine Treat Holder - Video #178

As craft bloggers we always try to figure out new projects to share with our wonderful viewers and followers each and every project.  Sometimes it's a little easier than others…..sometimes we are a little "stumped" -- other times the ideas "flow like a river"….right now I'm in a little crafting funk so to say…..

I'm not sure where the inspiration for this project came from -- I can just share with you that it turned out better than I expected!  For real.  I thought about making a project -- hmmm…kind of like a "countdown to valentine's day" thing -- but scratched that.  As I was scanning my craft supplies….I spotted these door hangers in my abundant supply of fun foam and thought "I really needed to do something with all of those hangers -- one day" -- then the light bulb turned on….what could I make out of them for a v-day project????  -- The project below evolved from there.  My first thought was to make one for each of my kids to hang on their bedroom door and maybe "the cupid fairy" (kind of like the tooth fairy and St. Nick) would bring each of them a "goodie" on valentine's day…..slip it in their treat holder that hangs delightfully on their bedroom door and they would be super excited when they woke up on Valentine's Day…..pretty nifty idea, huh? --

Here is the idea and you can expand it to make it what you wish….LOL!!
